Fort Lauderdale Country Club Fort Lauderdale

Fort Lauderdale Country Club is South Florida’s premier private equity golf club and features not one, but two championship 18-hole golf courses.

Both of the club’s courses, North and South, have more of a Northeastern feel, with ficus trees instead of palms and plenty of rolling hills and shapely undulating greens. These aren’t your typical Florida golf courses.

The North Course is the club’s original 18-hole layout and opened in 1926. This is Fort Lauderdale’s premier course, a test of shotmaking with multi-tiered and contoured greens that won’t leave players with many straight putts. The longer and more difficult of the two courses, the North Course requires accurate approach shots to undulating greens guarded by well-placed bunkers. This course is a challenge for players of all skill levels.

The South Course is more of a links-style layout. Players will encounter more inviting greens that are susceptible to run up shots, leaving more room for error. The course is definitely female friendly and players will find the greens to be less severe; flatter surfaces and straighter putts. For the men, the course plays 250 yards shorter than the North Course.
