mapThe Heron Bay Golf Academy is located in the beautiful Heron Bay Golf Club in Coral Springs, FL. It features Mike Richards and John Stoltz as PGA Directors of Instruction. We are joining forces with Bill Balash Golf Schools this season and have 3-day schools set through April.
The Academy has two high-tech video systems, with capabilities of sending lessons via email, and putting instruction on disks for student use after lessons. We are a full-service golf academy from junior camps to Corporate clinics and schools.
The Heron Bay Golf Club was built as a tournament course by the TPC (Tournament Players Club) network and hosted the Honda Classic for six years, from 1997-2002. The present owners host over 60 golf functions annually and we tailor instruction to numerous corporate outings. This past year we became the annual host for the Dixie Amateurs. With a beautifully appointed clubhouse and dining facility, all of your company and customer needs can be met: on the golf course, lesson tee, and your own hosting needs, both for meetings and dining.
Heron Bay has the finest driving range in South Florida - 40 acres with multiple tees, chipping areas, bunkers and a large putting green. As of February 1st, the range was lighted and is now open daily until 10:00pm. We also have a north tee that is used exclusively for golf schools. This area has four more chipping greens and a practice bunker.

Heron Bay Golf Club features the finest practice facility in all of South Florida. Built to handle the PGA TOUR’S Honda Classic, it features three separate hitting areas with over 400 yards of landing area. Three tee boxes (30yds x 100yds, 30yds x 100yds and 40yds x 100yds) make Heron Bay’s range the largest hitting area in South Florida insuring pristine turf conditions for the serious golfer.
