Deer Creek is unique for it’s undulating and rolling landscape design, typically not found in South Florida.Deer Creek has a proud history. It has hosted qualifying for the 2003 USGA Senior Open Championship and the 2002 USGA Amateur Championship as well as hosting the LPGA Tour’s Mazda Classic from 1979-1984. Deer Creek was named the “Best Course in Broward” – Fort Lauderdale Sun Sentinel, rated “ 4 1/2 stars” – Golf Digest Magazine, “Top Two Golf Courses in South Florida” – Golf Magazine and “Top 100 Courses for Women” – Golf for Women Magazine. The course is staffed by PGA Professionals. The golf carts are outfitted with a state of the art GPS system with real-time leader board in each cart. In addition every cart has a windshield and curtains in the back to protect your equipment. Deer Creek is an 18-Hole Championship Golf Course that has matured beautifully after a 2004 renovation by architect Arthur Hills. The 2-million-dollar renovation included reconstruction of all 18 greens to USGA specifications with TifEagle ultra dwarf Bermuda grass. In addition all bunkers were rebuilt and six holes were lengthened to stretch the layout to 7050 yards.
