Luxury golf community living is coming to Jupiter, Florida with the Ritz-Carlton stamp on it.

The first Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa, an exclusive luxury residential community, is being built in Jupiter, one of the most affluent and prestigios areas located near Palm Beach, FL.The 285-acre gated community will offer memberships to a private country club featuring a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, a luxurious Ritz-Carlton spa and three distinctive home ownership options. Members will choose from estate homes, Mediterranean-style courtyard homes and a fractional, residence club.

The Nicklaus course is expected to open next fall, with the spa and clubhouse following in late 2003. As the focal point of the community, the 68,000 square-foot clubhouse will offer amenities such as the Ritz-Carlton Spa, private dining, tennis courts, member’s lounge and locker rooms with steward.

The 18-hole Nicklaus course is the first designed for Ritz-Carlton and offers a challenging 7,178-yard layout, which will cater to strategic play. Like the spa, the course will offer top-notch service, including a golf concierge, a PGA-certified teaching staff and personal caddies
“The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa, Jupiter offers a premier golf environment, exceptional real estate options and the legendary services of the Ritz-Carlton,” said Simon F. Cooper, president and Chief Operating Officer for the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. “This is an exciting venture for us, as we are offering such a diverse product to the Jupiter community, with golf and spa memberships, estate homes and a private residence club.”

Twenty Ritz-Carlton home sites will be nestled in a private setting overlooking the fifth and eighth fairways, and will be adjacent to a protected, oak-dotted forest and a bald eagle preserve. Already in active sales, sites begin at approximately $675,000 with estate homes starting at 4,000 square feet.

The community will also feature 34 Ritz-Carlton Residences featuring private courtyards with golf course and lake views. Prices range from $1.5 to $2 million.

The Ritz-Carlton Club Homes are comprised of 67 elegantly-furnished homes, which can be purchased in one-eighth interests, allowing for a minimum access of 35 days a year. Home sales will begin in early 2002, with pricing starting at $220,000 per membership. Occupancy is targeted for November 2003.

The Ritz-Carlton Club, an extension of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, was developed as a luxury tier real estate offering combining the benefits of second home ownership with personalized Ritz-Carlton services and amenities. The first Ritz-Carlton Club property opened in Aspen, CO. nearly a year ago, and two more are under construction in St. Thomas and Bachelor Gulch, CO.

The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club and Spa, Jupiter is located on Donald Ross Road, east of Alternate A-1A. For more information contact 866-352-7489.
