Designer Dick Gray carved his signature course with a blend of surprising elevation changes combined with nature’s own hazards, creating challenges for every level golfer. With five sets of tees, the course plays as short or as long as you desire. The talk in the clubhouse usually centers on the greens, which are well known for their true speed, generous size, multi-tiering and excellent conditioning.
The carts at The Florida Club are all equipped with state-of-the-art global Positioning System (GPS) computers, an amenity rarely seen on daily-fee courses. This device eliminates searching for yardage markers or guessing the pin position on the green. Another convenient feature of the GPS is that you can pre-order food directly from the cart and it will be waiting for you at the turn. Old Florida tradition echoes throughout the clubhouse and onto its comfortable wrap-around porch which overlooks the 18th and Roebuck Creek. This is a great location to relax and enjoy a cold drink and sandwich from the fully stocked bar and grill. Need a little help with your swing? The professional teaching staff at The Florida Club offers a wide range of instruction for juniors, beginners and even the seasoned players seeking to improve. The 80,000-sq.-ft. practice area is one of the best facilities in South Florida – an excellent place to practice your putting, chipping, bunker shots and long game.
A captivating course, equalled only by its unsurpassed service from the moment you arrive, The Florida Club represents one irresistible golf experience.
