Doral rolls out its new golf professional commissioning program

MIAMI -- As golf season approaches, Doral Golf Resort & Spa, a Marriott Resort has rolled out its new Golf Professional Commissioning Program to much anticipation.Blue Monster No. 18

With this program, golf pros are eligible to be rewarded with a percentage of commission when they bring their club members to Doral Golf Resort to stay and play. The bigger the group, the more rewards await these golf professionals and their accompanying groups.

Groups of one to nine golfers will receive a 5% commission on base package room revenue when reservations are booked through the hotel's reservations team. Golfing groups of ten or more will receive the 5% commission on base package room revenue or the commission total can be taken off the group's final bill.

Group packages of ten or more should be booked through Kim Elder in the Golf Sales Office and secured with a golf package agreement. Groups of over ten players are also eligible for one complimentary hospitality parlor and an Event Manager and Golf Tournament Coordinator will be assigned to the group. Additional services and upgrades are also available including dinner in Windows on the Green, lunch in Champion's Grill & Bar, retail amenities, spa services and transportation.

If the golf pro is joining the group, they are able to opt out of the commissioning program, and thus request a special rate for their Miami hotel package. The pro will also be offered the corporate room rate and complimentary golf, while breakfast and any upgrades to the package will be offered at an additional charge.

With five championship golf courses on site, Doral Golf Resort & Spa does not disappoint in terms of world-class greens.
