Miami, FL – The Blue, a resort hotel condominium, is the one and only property ever to be built adjacent to the legendary Blue Monster golf course at the Golf Resort and Spa in Miami, Florida. This prime spot gives The Blue an edge in real estate, as it meets and surpasses the well know criterion – location is everything. Not only will this endeavor offer prime real estate, but exclusive real estate.
Exclusivity lends itself to exceptionality, which is exactly what The Blue will be, exceptional. Situated along the 12th and 13th fairways of the Blue Monster, a course that every golfer aspires to play, The Blue will break ground in Summer 2006 and offer the opportunity to own a piece of property that until now has been unattainable.

Winston Trails Golf Club owner Bryan Symonds is, first of all, a teacher. He is also a collector of great golf clubs that have a story to tell. That unique combination of passions has led Symonds to design a set of wedges that he says blends the tradition of the first great wedges with the technology of today, resulting in a “new-old” style wedge that’s slowly gaining a reputation on the PGA TOUR and with regular players like us.
In Symonds collection of wedges are classic clubs like the ones the legendary Tommy Armour, Sam Snead, Ben Hogan and 1944 PGA Champion Bob Hamilton played on Tour. These wedges were almost round, specifically with rounded heels, where they were ground out, while keeping the leading edge very sharp.

There few times in life when you meet someone and walk away truly inspired. Jim McLean is the type of person that inspires you and I have not even begun to talk about his golf instruction. I recently caught up with Jim at the Jim McLean Golf School at the Doral Resort and Spa. We had an opportunity to discuss the difficulties of going from bent to bermuda and look at the state of the art facility Jim has created. Ironically, the real tips received didn’t come from his Book of Drills but rather about his Book of Drills. Known around the world as one of the great golf instructors, Jim has produced numerous videos and books on his teaching methods.

What is it like to be wedged between two of golf’s greatest players? I was hoping for a genie effect after spending time with legends Seve Ballesteros and Gary Player, and was convinced my next round would be a spectacular one. Unfortunately, a lower handicap did not rub off. As amazing as these two men are on the course what was interesting to discover is how spectacular they are off the course. It was a star studded day at the Eighth Annual Gary Player Invitational, held at the Floridian Golf & Yacht Club in Palm Beach.
Wayne and Marti Huizenga’s private golf course built to entertain friends. Estimated to have cost over $75 million, the Floridian hosted this incredible charity event that raised in excess of half a million dollars for the beneficiaries. The Gary Player Invitational joins celebrities and business people for a competitive day of golf and is one of four events Gary hosts to raise money for the Gary Player Foundation and Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.
